- Blood Orange & Pink Grapefruit will hit shelves in January 2024
- Available in ASDA and Morrisons with an RRP £5.00
Little Moons – Europe’s leading mochi brand – adds to its best-selling Refreshos sorbet range. Introducing Blood Orange & Pink Grapefruit – a light and refreshing sorbet mochi, that delivers a great tasting, fruit forward proposition in a bite sized format.
Available from January 2024, the latest flavour will join the current portfolio of sorbet favourites Very Berry and Pineapple & Mandarin, launching in ASDA and Morrisons, with an RRP £5.00.
A blend of tangy and citrus flavours, combining the distinct sweetness of blood oranges with the zesty tartness of pink grapefruit.
Since making its debut in January 2023, Refreshos mochi sorbet bites have been integral to Little Moons and the wider ice cream category, adding an incremental 30%, as shoppers demand lighter, portion controlled snacks, that do not compromise on quality or taste.
The perfectly paired recipe features a cooling sorbet which is then wrapped in Little Moons signature sweet, soft dough. The new flavour is vegan, gluten free, free from artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives and 58 calories per ball.
Howard Wong, co-founder, Little Moons comments: “As innovators in the ice cream snacking space, our category first Refreshos have provided shoppers with a fruity, delicious and portion controlled snack that does not compromise on taste or quality. So we’re delighted to add another flavour to our portfolio, providing fans with another light and refreshing snack that can be enjoyed throughout the day and give them a little lift when they need it.”
The launch will be supported with a PR, sampling and social media campaign. The mochi pioneers are also partnering with Coolstays – which offers unique and unusual places to stay across the UK – to give fans a soulful escape this February.
