It might well be a little wet & windy outside, but nothing the English Winter can throw up is likely to dampen the high spirits being felt at Hunter & Gather Foods HQ; after Amy & Jeff discovered that they’ve been nominated for two prestigious awards, secured a NEW online presence within Holland & Barrett (3 x mayos, 1 x Mayocado and 1 x avocado oil) whilst significantly expanding their Ocado presence from 2-7 listings, whilst ALSO securing 6 months of ‘money can’t buy,’ mentoring from peanut butter pioneer, Pippa Murray.
According to co-founder, Amy Moring, ‘It’s honestly hard to stop smiling in November with so much good news fighting to break cover. For a manufacturer of our size to warrant the support of such a ‘healthy living’ heavyweight as Holland & Barrett is beyond our wildest dreams, whilst being shortlisted for this Winter’s, Lloyds Bank National Business (New Entrepreneur) & Growing Business (family-owned) awards still seems quite incredulous for our fledgling business that only began trading back in 2017.’
Yet there’s no questioning whatsoever regarding which slither of good news had Hunter & Gather’s two, under 30 founders initiating a discreet high 5. ‘Trophies and shelf space are all very nice,’ concludes Amy, ‘however there’s simply no substitute to learning first hand from someone like Pippa who’s not only been in our shoes but is doing miraculous things transforming an entire food category courtesy of an unwavering commitment to clean deck/ reduced sugar recipes.
