Peperami Unveils Integrated Campaign For Popular Chicken Bites

• The No.1 meat snacking brand announces its latest integrated campaign to support its Chicken Bites range • Dubbed ‘Love at First Bite’, the six-figure campaign spans across PR, social media and digital communications • Celebrity singletons Anthony Joshua, Lewis Capaldi, and Maya Jama take part in the unique dating experiment, matched with complete strangers based on their love of the same foods and flavours

Peperami, the UK’s No. 1 meat snacking brand, has today launched its latest integrated PR, social media and digital campaign to support its popular Peperami Chicken Bites range.

The campaign dubbed ‘Love at First Bite’, will see three celebrity singletons take part in a unique dating experiment to see if food really is the way to our heart.

Launching on the 23rd September, the video content series will leverage the brands social media platforms to connect with its snack-loving consumers.

Each episode within the series will see three mystery cooks whip up their dish in the kitchen using the number one go-to dish on a date – chicken. The celebrity singleton will try each Peperami Chicken Bites dish and select their date purely on food compatibility.

Heavyweight champion of the world and heartthrob, Anthony Joshua, will be the first to kick-off the series. The tongue-and-cheek video will capture the final pair enjoying the winning dish and answering questions throughout their date.

At the end of the date, Anthony Joshua will not only rate the plate, but rate his date. Other celebrities taking part include radio and TV presenter, Maya Jama, and international popstar, Lewis Capaldi.

Each celebrity will also be creating their own date night dish, using either Pep’d Up or Smokin’ flavours from the range, hoping to inspire the nation to get creative in the kitchen.

The campaign aims to highlight the versatility and quality credentials of the product, being the perfect on-the-go snack or protein boost for speedy mealtimes.

Made available to watch on Peperami’s YouTube channel, teasers of the content will also appear on the brands social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Twitter.

Fans will also see the superstar singletons share the cheeky content on their own channels.

Pavan Chandra, Marketing Manager at Peperami said: ““It has long been said that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but the same could be said for women too! We thought it was about time someone put this to the test.

“What we eat offers an insight into our personality. Just like selecting from a food menu, we select our significant others with a similar list of characteristics that are important to us.

“With chicken crowned the go-to dish by daters, Peperami Chicken Bites is perfectly placed to explore this theory and play match-maker.

“We know our audience loves engaging video content and when fronted with talent that resonates with them, it’s a recipe for success. We’re excited to find out how important food is when connecting with a love interest and if it is love at first bite for our dating duos.”
