KALLØ EXTENDS MINI VEGGIE CAKES RANGE WITH NEW CARAMELISED ONION CHUTNEY FLAVOUR

The new SKU adds to Kallø’ popular Veggie Cake’s range which comes in mini and jumbo formats

Following the success of its Beetroot & Balsamic Mini Veggie Cakes, healthier snacking brand Kallø is adding to the range with a delicious new flavour – Caramelised Onion Chutney.

Made from lentil and peas, the plant-based snacks are high in natural plant proteins, a great source of fibre, HFSS compliant and suitable for both vegan and vegetarian diets.

Now available in two flavour formats, Mini Veggie Cakes combine premium taste with functional ingredients such as lentil and pea. The new addition to the Veggie Cakes range comes following the success of its viral Beetroot & Balsamic Veggie Cakes Jumbos which took TikTok by storm earlier this year.

Retailing at £0.90p (RRP), the Kallø Caramelised Onion Chutney Mini Veggie Cakes are now available for purchase from Tesco Express and Waitrose stores nationwide. From 19th September, both flavours will also be available to buy at Morrisons in 22g x 12 single bags.

Bryan Martins, Kallø Marketing & Category Director at Ecotone UK, says: “At Kallø, we’re focused on creating products that are better by nature, and make healthy eating simple. That’s why we’ve expanded our Veggie Cake Minis range, to deliver another delicious snacking option for on-the-go consumers looking for a snack they can feel good about.”

Kallø’s snacking range has been specifically designed in response to major trends at play in the snacking category – with 53 per cent of shoppers looking for snacking formats which deliver on both taste and nutrition. The new SKU is also providing one of the most sought-out taste combinations in crisps, caramelised onion.

The new launch comes as part of Kallø’s mission to prove that healthy food doesn’t have to be dull by offering consumers a range of products that are vibrant, colourful and full of flavour – using only carefully selected, honest ingredients to create something extraordinary.
