The gin that brought the heat last Christmas is back.
Following a sell-out debut in 2025, Herefordshire farm distillery Penrhos Spirits and wonky fruit and veg champions Oddbox are reuniting to bring back their Pear & Chilli Gin for Christmas 2026.
Combining the sweetness of juicy pears with a warming kick of real wonky red chillies, the unexpected flavour pairing is a festive twist on the growing ‘swicy’ (sweet and spicy) drinks trend.
And this year, there’s even more reason to celebrate. For the first time, the returning gin will be served exclusively across Flight Club venues throughout the UK, bringing a little sweet heat to festive get-togethers, Christmas parties and cocktail celebrations.
Not your average flavoured gin
Penrhos x Oddbox Pear & Chilli Gin is a carefully crafted balance of natural fruit sweetness and gentle, warming spice. Made using real, imperfectly shaped red chillies, the gin was perfected through more than 20 different recipe trials before the winning blend was selected by Penrhos’ dedicated Chief Gin Taster panel.
The result is a distinctive, beautifully balanced gin that starts sweet and finishes with a warming chilli kick. Perfect served with tonic or shaken into a festive cocktail.

Now, with Penrhos Spirits also newly certified as a B Corporation, the returning collaboration brings together two brands united by their belief that good food deserves a second chance.
