Charlie Bigham’s, creator of delicious food for foodies, is releasing its take on the classic French dish – Coq Au Vin – this autumn.
Available now, exclusively in Waitrose, Bigham’s Coq Au Vin is made with tender chicken breast pieces slow-cooked in a red wine and fresh garlic sauce. The dish is finished with mushrooms, onions, smoked pancetta and a creamy mash topping.
With minimal preparation or fuss, Coq Au Vin is a perfect dish for lifting the spirits over the colder months that lie ahead. Simply add some buttered green vegetables or crusty bread and butter, to enjoy the very last of the delicious sauce.
