Clipper Teas, the natural and organic tea brand owned by Wessanen, has appointed creative agency, Pablo for the next stage of growth for the brand.
The agency was chosen following a competitive pitch process involving a total of four agencies, which was concluded virtually at the beginning of May.
Pablo will be supporting Clipper to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to making great tasting tea, ethical sourcing and natural ingredients to an audience of conscious tea drinkers in all European markets.
The B Corp certified tea brand is sold in over 50 countries worldwide. It is the UK’s fastest growing black tea and the no. 2 organic tea in France and Benelux.
Klaus Arntz, Wessanen chief marketing officer, comments:
“We are excited to be working with Pablo, who demonstrated strong creative capability with big ideas as well as great ability to connect with customers in non-traditional channels. We feel their relentless focus on results and earned media is aligned with our high ambitions for the brand”.
Bryan Martins, Wessanen UK marketing director, adds:
“We needed an agency that could combine a British sensibility but also has the vision to flex that in our overseas markets.”
Clipper is also the world’s largest Fairtrade tea brand. The brand is focused on showing consumers that Clipper is the fair, natural as well as delicious choice, and is on a mission to make people re-think their tea.
Gareth Mercer, CEO at Pablo, says:
“Clipper is a brand of substance. The more you dig the better it gets. It is one of those brands you fall in love with and we are looking forward to working with the team there to deliver work that shines a light on its strengths and brings new customers to the brand.”
Clipper Teas and owner Wessanen are both B Corp certified and have pledged to deliver a positive social and environmental change.
