Branding and Packaging Design Experts, Mayday have introduced drama and simplicity to Clearspring’s large organic noodles range.
The brief was to both re-align the range within the recently uplifted wider Clearspring portfolio and create a distinctive and instantly recognisable identity, within an often predictable sector.
With food shelves becoming ever more crowded, Mayday was keen to create a clear, memorable ‘mnemonic’, which would feel appropriate in the sector and cut through the on shelf ‘noise’.
Roger Akroyd, Creative Partner at Mayday said, ‘We’re confident our witty play on steam/noodles, with a nod to Japanese graphic simplicity, delivers instant, ‘less is more’ communication for the consumer’.
The new Clearspring Organic Japanese Noodles range consists of Noodles, Ramens and Umami Stocks. Currently sold in health food retailers and online, with a larger roll out in Europe later in the year.
