RUDE HEALTH REVEALS NEW RANGE OF DELICIOUSLY DAIRY FREE, ORGANIC ‘NO SUGARS’ DRINKS

Pioneers in healthy, natural and delicious food and drink, Rude Health, today confirms the launch of a duo of Organic No Sugars dairy-free drinks into national retail. The two-strong range; No Sugars Oat and No Sugars Almond will be rolling out nationwide with Waitrose across 233 stores from 12th May as well as Ocado (RRP: 1ltr / £2.20). The range will also be available to independents via wholesalers including Suma, Essential, Cotswold Fayre, Infinity, August Noel, Queenswood and Greencity. The brand, which is on a mission to make healthy choices a celebration not a sacrifice, prides itself on being ‘deliciously dairy free’ and focusing on flavour first.

The latest launches, both of which contain no naturally occurring sugars, have been created in response to a consistent demand for clean and natural ingredient decks, combined with a growing consumer desire to reduce or avoid sugar*.

No Sugars Oat has been created by tweaking the production process so the oats don’t release any sugar. Instead, you get all the oaty taste you love, with nothing else on the side, made with just 4 natural ingredients, including 10% gluten-free oats. No Sugars Almond benefits from the natural sweetness of almonds, so there’s no need to add any sugar. It’s a blend of just 3 ingredients: Organic Italian almonds with spring water and a little carob seed flour to keep it creamy and smooth. The full Rude Health range is made using quality ingredients and nothing artificial. Allproductsareorganic,dairy-free,glutenfree,nonGMO,containingnogumsandno gunk!

Founder Camilla Barnard says “I am even more excited than usual about our No Sugars range innovation. It’s personally a dream drink because I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I’m big on flavour and we’ve managed to get all the flavour of Oat and Almond with none of the sugars. Health is very close to my heart – we are called Rude Health after all – and creating a flavourful milk with absolutely no sugar helps to further our goal of making healthy eating a celebration not a sacrifice. It’s also a great technical achievement for the team. All grains contain some sugar, naturally, so the challenge of making a delicious creamy milk out of them without getting any of the sugars from them is something I’m very proud of.”

Rude Health was founded by Nick and Camilla Barnard in 2005 around their kitchen table where they started with the Ultimate Muesli. Now nearly 18 years in, with a 60 plus product portfolio, Rude Health can be found in fridges and cupboards worldwide. Its commitment to championing sustainability through its sourcing and packaging also saw the brand achieve B Corp status in 2021.
