Teva Foods, a subsidiary of Golden West Food Group, has launched a new line of better-for-you Skinnygirl fresh food products. Skinnygirl, best known for delicious low-calorie cocktails, has recently expanded its portfolio to include non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and microwave popcorn. Now, Golden West Food Group is taking Skinnygirl into a new aisle: refrigerated goods.
Deciding to expand the brand into fresh, party-ready dips was a no-brainer for Skinnygirl creator, Bethenny Frankel: “Everyone loves indulgent snacking while enjoying a cocktail, and with these dips there’s no need to feel guilty. Each flavor is more delicious than the next. It’s hard to believe they’re low calorie!I love using them in recipes too!”
This new lineup is led by an innovative hummus product that is made with a touch of Greek yogurt, which provides a light, delicious, low-calorie twist on a traditional party favorite. New flavors include a Classic Hummus, a Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, a Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus, and a Roasted Garlic Hummus. The lineup also showcases two creamy, low calorie dips that are ideal for entertaining—Skinnygirl Ranch Dip and Skinnygirl French Onion Dip.
Rounding out the collection is an assortment of bold salsas, perfect for pairing with chips or crudité for your next party. Featured flavors include a Skinnygirl Black Bean and Corn salsa, a tangy Skinnygirl Mango Salsa and a Skinnygirl take on classic profiles: Mild, Medium, and Hot salsas.
Each 12oz Skinnygirl salsa, hummus, or dip is ideal for entertaining, or snacking and can be found in select Kroger, Target, Hy-Vee, Fairway Market, Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, and Walmart stores.
