Ticco Foods Teams-up with Gourmet Spanish Food Manufacturer

Ticco Foods Limited, one of the UK’s leading specialist foodservice groups, has announced an on-going exclusive distribution agreement with Your Tapas Company, a modern Spanish gourmet Tapas manufacturer located in Ribadumia, Galicia, North West Spain.

Known as ‘Yatecomere’ in their native Spain, Your Tapas Company specialise in manufacturing innovative products for the food service industry that bring high quality, authentic tapas that provide time saving and operational efficiencies to their buyers.

The deal will see Ticco distribute their authentic Spanish produce to an ever demanding tapas market in the UK, particularly to food service outlets who are looking for a high quality, artisan product to meet the demands of their day to day operations. Ticco Foods distributes to hundreds of wholesalers, independents and national groups in the restaurant, hotel, pub, travel and leisure sectors.

Ticco will initially offer the Spanish company’s speciality tapas item – Artisan Gourmet Croquetas, including their best-selling mouth-watering Iberican Ham Croquetas, creamy round balls of blended béchamel coated in their unique breadcrumbs with a healthy dose of award-winning Jamón Ibérico and Jamón Serrano chunks inside. Other variants on offer include fragrantly smooth Wild Mushroom Croquetas, exquisite black Cuttlefish in Squid Ink Croquetas and aromatic Tiger Mussel Croquetas. The delicious Croquetas are carefully crafted to a traditional recipe using artisan methods and the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Each 1.5kg tray of croquetas contains 64 pieces and stored frozen between -18 to -22 degrees centigrade. They can be cooked directly from frozen in approximately 5 minutes.
