Eristoff vodka has been awarded a Gold Medal by the prestigious US-based Beverage Testing Institute in its annual International Review of Spirits Competition.
Eristoff scored an impressive 91 points out of 100 in the blind taste test, positioning the brand in the ‘Exceptional’ category and in the top 20 of the 143 vodka brands that entered the competition.
The Beverage Testing Institute also awarded Eristoff a ‘Best Buy’ accolade in recognition of its competitively priced quality taste.
The International Review of Spirits is the oldest and most influential annual spirits competition in the United States. The expert panel at the Beverage Testing Institute use a dedicated tasting lab in Chicago. Each spirit entering the competition receives a score based on a 100-point scale. Those, like Eristoff, that break the critical 90-point barrier are tasted twice to guarantee they deserve their rating. A score of 90-92 points indicates a spirit that is ‘truly excellent in style and distinction.’
The panel’s tasting notes describe Eristoff vodka as: “Clear. Gentle aromas suggest nougat, bread and creamy pudding with a supple, dry medium body and a warming mineral, pepper and dried flower and fruit accented finish. Delicious; will be great in vodka tonics.”
This latest award highlights the impressive success of Eristoff in recent months. The brand has received a Silver Outstanding award from the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) for its excellent taste and was proud to be ranked No. 7 by the IWSR (International Wine & Spirit Research) in its 2011 Elite Brands list, in recognition of sustained international growth.
