The event kick starts Hoar Cross Hall’s ‘Summer of Fun’ with further activities to be announced over the next few months. For the first time in history, Hoar Cross Hall will welcome families outside of the Christmas period. ITV chef Sally Bee will also greet guests at the restaurant and sign copies of her best-selling books.

After lunch, families can spill out onto the Italian Garden’s Outdoor Terrace to enjoy live music and kids entertainment. There will also be a very special treat for Dad to say Happy Father’s Day!

Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel is a Grade II listed stately home retreat in Staffordshire that pairs period style with modern luxury and attentive service. Already offering overnight accommodation, first class spa and leisure facilities, weddings and conference space; the launch of this new restaurant forms part of a wider £2.5 million renovation strategy at the luxury resort.

Adrian Pearson, Group Managing Director, of Hoar Cross Hall said: “ The opening of Sally Bee’s Nutrilicious has been a phenomenal success. Since it opened we have been very keen to open up the restaurant and the Hoar Cross Hall grounds to families from across the Midlands. Our Father’s Day lunch is the first family event we are hosting and we look forward to welcoming Sally and the local community to this and more family based events throughout the summer.”

ITV chef and best selling author Sally Bee opened her ‘guilt free’ restaurant last month to critical acclaim. The restaurant offers a delicious and decadent menu, packed with personality. Sally Bee spent months designing the menu to ensure that every ingredient used offers direct health benefits. Diners can choose from a range of exquisite meals safe in the knowledge that everything they order will be nutritionally balanced and amazingly flavoursome.

f1Sally Bee commented; “There’s nothing that says “I love you Dad” more than taking your pops to a delicious, yet healthy restaurant where you know he will be satisfied without the heart-clogging foods that he may usually eat. With more than its fair share of “man-sized meals” on the menu including hand carved meats, comfort food sides and delectable dessert, the patriarch of the family is likely to enjoy the opportunity to be treated like a king, pull up a chair and grab a fork at Nutrilicous.”

The lunch fit for dad includes starters such as soup of the day, prawn cocktail and chicken terrine. Sunday favourites including hand carved English roast beef with Yorkshire puddings, roast turkey with all the trimmings, roast vegetable Israeli tabbouleh, all served with Sally Bee’s rooster potatoes and rosemary roast vegetables. Puddings include squishy chocolate cake, Eton mess and apple crumble.

Adrian Pearson added: “We know people sometimes struggle to think of what to get dad or a father figure in their life on Father’s Day, and this is another idea – spending time with your father and family at Hoar Cross Hall. We hope it will be perfect experience for the entire family on Father’s Day. Families can enjoy our 50 acres of picture-perfect grounds, formal gardens and whimsical woodland alongside an amazing lunch!”
