The Queen’s Head, Kingston [144 Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 5HA] has launched its new menu for winter.
Food at The Queen’s Head is a fresh, local affair, with dishes cleverly crafted from seasonal ingredients by Head Chef, Johnny Joseph and an expert kitchen team. Passionate about provenance, the chefs know exactly where all their ingredients come from and all the dishes are freshly cooked on site. The menu also includes a nod to Fuller’s award-winning beers, with London Porter smoked salmon croquettes and tartare dressing as one of the starters on offer and ESB braised ox cheeks served with horseradish dumplings and kale as a main course option.
The Queen’s Head re-opened earlier in 2016, following an extensive refurbishment. The pub, kitchen and the 10 beautiful boutique bedrooms all received a transformation, boasting modern facilities in an ideal location in the heart of Kingston-upon-Thames.
Ryan Moore, Manager of The Queen’s Head, Kingston, said: “The past few months at The Queen’s Head have been really exciting. Having re-opened in June, my team and I have spent the summer getting to know our customers and working with the local community. I am now looking forward to Christmas and our new winter menu. Our Head Chef, Johnny, has done a fantastic job in crafting these new dishes and I cannot wait for the feedback from our customers.”
