The recent merger of Kraft and Heinz has seen the launch of a new logo.
The new logo is a combination of the two iconic wordmarks that forms the company’s new name—Kraft Heinz. A closer look reveals that the ‘t’ in Kraft has been tapered to accommodate the swash of Heinz’s ‘h’.
The merger is backed by 3G Capital and Berkshire Hathaway, which will invest US$10 billion in the deal, making the Kraft Heinz Company worth about US$46 billion.
The Kraft Heinz Company, now has 13 different brands. The merger, has been agreed by the boards of both companies, with approvals by shareholders and regulatory authorities.
The new company is expected to become the fifth-largest food and beverage company in the world, and the third-largest in the United States. The company will have dual headquarters between Pittsburgh and Chicago, the respective headquarters of Heinz and Kraft.
