YAZOO, the UK’s number one flavoured milk brand is launching a tempting new flavour; Choco-Hazelicious. Available now in four different formats, the deliciously nutty flavoured drink is set to refresh the category and drive sales.
Committed to innovating flavoured milk, this is the third limited edition YAZOO has launched in the Last two years. Choc-Mint and Choc-Caramel respectively generated £1million and £1.2million of sales for the brand within just five months. Choco-Hazelicious is set to deliver even better results. The dairy giant has pulled out all the stops to create a drink absolutely bursting with flavour – Choco-Hazelicious will not disappoint! The milk drink has no allergen risk, and is suitable for nut allergy sufferers so retailers can confidently invest in Choco-Hazelicious to boost summer soft drink sales.
Building on the success of its previous Limited Edition flavours, YAZOO is releasing Choco-Hazelicious in four different formats to ensure it can be consumed both on-the-go and at home. The 400ml standard pack and matching £1PMP version will be accompanied by a one litre bottle (standard and PMP), perfect for sharing. YAZOO’s one litre milk drinks are currently growing ahead of the market rate at +31% YOY, giving retailers another steadfast reason to commit to stocking both sizes and offering shoppers plenty of choice.
Wayne Thompson, Business Unit Controller (OOH) at YAZOO, said: “We know limited edition products perform very well and we want to ensure that Choco-Hazelicious is so popular, people are coming in to store actively seeking it out.
“We undertook extensive consumer research to help us reach a conclusion on the right flavour for this limited edition launch. As 48% of flavoured milk sales are chocolate based, we knew this should inform our choice. We surveyed 2,500 people, garnering their opinions on 32 different flavour options, and chocolate hazelnut came out as one of the top three, We’re really confident it delivers on taste and will bring excitement to the category this Spring.”
