Recently at HortiBiz’s international Tomato Inspiration Event, local Windset Farms won big.
Among the gathered top 50 tomato growers in the world, selected by leading horticultural suppliers, Windset Farms took the top spot winning the award for ‘Best Tomato Grower in the World.’
Steven Newell, CEO, was on hand to accept the award. His brother, John Newell, COO, said:
“We couldn’t be more proud – this is a huge honour for Windset given the other growers in the running. It takes a lot of people to make this happen and we would like to thank all of the people on the Windset Team for making this a reality.”
So the next time you are in a local grocery store looking at produce, be sure to pick up some Windset Farms produce including their cucumbers, bell peppers, butter lettuce…and of course their now famous tomatoes.
