Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are proving that everything is bigger in Texas by saluting Texas’ fine tradition of BBQ with their newest meat-on-meat burger creation: the Texas BBQ Thickburger.
For the Texas BBQ Thickburger, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s put the best of Texas on a burger, so in their new campaign, 72andSunny put the best of Texas in the spot “I Love Texas”. The spot introduces Texas native and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Ferguson as the chain’s newest spokesmodel, washing down a huge pick-up truck and enjoying a Texas BBQ Thickburger.
“I Love Texas” pays homage to one of the restaurant’s most iconic advertisements by re-creating the iconic 2005 Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s ad in a big Texan way with a Texas spin and cameo appearance by a Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s advertising legend, Paris Hilton. The spot also features a re-recording of “I Love Paris” from the original ad, performed as “I Love Texas.”
