Rhuby Liqueur’s Pink Your Drink Event Raises Funds For Pink Ribbon

Each year Rhuby Liqueur holds a female cocktail competition called Pink Your Drink to support women in the industry and breast cancer awareness.

The competition was founded by Ylva Binder and introduced in 2012 at the London Cocktail week and this year Rhuby Liqueur held it in Stockholm Sweden.

During the month of October the Liqueur brand organized events and lectures around Sweden. Bars restaurants and nightclubs joined forces to ‘Pink’ their bars or menus and part of the income was donated to the Pink Ribbon.

Sofie Larsson – owner of Magic bar in Stockholm was crowned winner, she said her cocktail ‘Miss Regina’ was dedicated to her friend and Swedish actress Regina Lund, who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Many people took part in the initiative to make an effort towards a great cause.

Judging panel included top Swedish distiller, blender, chief editors of leading magazines and UK bartenders Elsa Holmberg and Jolene Cadwell.
