Premium soft drinks business, Nuisance Drinks, are extending their range with the launch of two new flavours.
The business, which began when founder, Hugo, foraged nettles (often considered a nuisance) to make drinks during lockdown, are adding to their range with the launch of their Pink Grapefruit & Basil and Rhubarb & Ginger flavours.
Tapping into the growing trend in alcohol-free drinks, Nuisance was born in 2020, when founder Hugo, swapped his city desk for gardening gloves. Armed with his mum’s recipe and a pocket full of dock leaf, he spent lockdown foraging nettles before launching their first drinks. Nuisance later launched a trio of sparkling botanical soft drinks that celebrate the wild side of nature – turning the unsung heroes of the hedgerow, often considered a nuisance, into daringly delicious drinks. And now, they are adding two more…
In their Pink Grapefruit & Basil, Nuisance are combining citrus flavours with the summer herb garden. Founder, Hugo Morrissey, commented: “We were really keen to add a citrus flavour to the repertoire and pink grapefruit is seriously unrepresented in soft drinks… I cannot wait to get these flavours into people’s hands (and just in time for Spring, too). I’m seriously proud of what we have produced.” On the Rhubarb & Ginger, Morrissey added, “this one is more of a timeless classic – you just can’t go wrong and the subtle warmth of the ginger is a beautiful addition.”
Nuisance’s Drinks are all low in calories, contain no artificial sweeteners and are suitable for vegans. Nuisance have committed to donating 1% of their sales to Rewilding Britain – a charity dedicated to rewilding the countryside to enhance ecosystems and encourage biodiversity.
Nuisance Drinks are available at various outlets throughout the UK, on Amazon and via their website for £19.99 (12 x 250ml cans).
