Bruegger’s Bagels, known for its freshly baked, authentic New York-style bagels, has launched “Behind the Taste,” a video series that gives fans an inside look at the people and traditions behind the brand – plus a bonus for viewers.
The first video vignette, which debuted January 7, features Ben Richards, a bagel expert who has been with the company for more than 25 years, demonstrating the 100-year-old traditional New York-style baking method and simple ingredients that Bruegger’s Bagels still uses to this day.
At the end of the video, viewers will receive a code that they can redeem for a $9.99 Big Bagel Bundle. Each vignette will feature a different food item with an offer.
“Our ‘Behind the Taste’ campaign captures Bruegger’s Bagels’ commitment to authentic bagel baking and the high-quality ingredients,” said Bruegger’s Bagels Vice President of Marketing Judy Kadylak. “We’re featuring the unique stories of our artisans – from our bagel makers to fishmongers, dairy farmers and sundried tomato suppliers who make our food great – to give viewers a closer look at what our brand stands for.”
Additional vignettes, to be rolled out monthly, will feature a tour with a dairyman who produces the company’s 100 percent made-in-Vermont cream cheese; a visit with the proprietor of a traditional salmon smoker that provides Bruegger’s Bagels’ lox; and an interview with a pair of brothers who create the company’s famous sundried tomato spread.
