Inspired by the historic splendour and magnificence of the Queens Royal Garden Parties, Boundless Brand Design and Royal Salute launch their latest collaboration, a Signature Blend 21 YO Whisky, created for year round celebration.
Full of enchantment and wonder, British royal garden parties have always been legendary. Grand and sophisticated, dating back to the reign of Queen Victoria, an invite to the Queens Garden Party is a huge honour and the pinnacle of celebration and majesty.
The design brief was to create a gifting proposition that was relevant for all year round and all occasions. Enchanting and extraordinary, this needed to be the ‘King of Gifts’, creating dazzling impact on shelf, meeting the expectations of even the most discerning Royal Salute customer. Inspired by this superb event, this limited edition Whisky needed to reflect the highly social nature of the garden party, encapsulating both theatrical celebration whilst actually delivering a proposition that would bring people together.
Full of garden party paraphernalia the packs include florals that hero the extravagant royal gardens themselves and trumpets that represent the famous brass band, perpetuating the joy of fan fair. Depictions of bunting represent Britishness, with classic icons such as the Queen’s Corgis adding to the classically English design. Intricate illustrations by Mariana Rodrigues with the addition of custom layered embossings add to the wonder and excitement associated with the quintessentially English celebration, paralleling the grandeur and quality that Royal Salute is known for. These beautiful details are further brought to life off pack in a brand world toolkit and animated key visuals.
Hamish Shand, Founder and Creative Director says, “We have created a limited edition for Royal Salute that fully encapsulates all the awe, wonder and traditional cues you would expect to see when at a Royal Garden Party. Driving celebration and perpetuating indulgence and luxury, we created a pack that not only delivers boldly on shelf but exceeds typical gifting expectation”.
