You can’t drink beer whenever want, especially not in Sweden. This can be quite tough for beer lovers. That’s why Swedish agency Åkestam Holst teamed with beer brand Norrland Guld Ljus and translated the actual feeling of having a beer into the perfect sound of enjoying a beer. They simply made a beer for your ear. For real!
Not just by recording the beer sounds, but by using the sound technology ASMR, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, the company created an enjoyment for your ears that actually equals the enjoyment your mouth experiences when drinking a beer.
The sensation begins ‘on the scalp’ before moving ‘down the spine’ to the base of the neck, sometimes spreading ‘to the back, arms and legs as intensity increases’, all triggered by the ASMR sound design.
The Ear Beer was launched on Spotify, Youtube and Apple Music, and even on limited edition vinyl. It also featured remixes by some of Europes most popular Djs like Lindstrœm, Kelly Lee Owens and Harald Bjork.
