Diageo has launched the second part of its Guinness: ‘Made of More’ advertising campaign. The ad went live on social media last week and will premier in the UK on January 24.
The spot that was created by AMV BBDO, will have both a 60-second and a 30-second creative. It is a follow up to ‘the cloud’, which was released in October last year.
‘Clock’ is set in the Czech Republic in the 1890s and tells the story of a town clock that that starts to control time to enhance the townspeople’s days; by accelerating time to make a task go faster, reversing time to avoid an unfortunate event, and pausing time to allow a precious moment to last longer.
According to Diageo the ‘Made of More’ campaign is the biggest Guinness marketing campaign to date, costing them roughly £5.5 million.
Nick Britton, Guinness’ marketing manager said the company will continue to invest in the brand this year to “drive its point of difference versus other brands in the beer category.”
