This month will see the long awaited launch of the first real Doner Kebab franchise as it prepares to open its doors to a new generation of customers in Dubai.
Since its launch in Berlin back in 1971, Doner Kebab has been committed to crafting and perfecting its unique blend of traditional spices and innovative cooking processes that go into producing its healthy alternative Doner Kebabs. The company is now poised to fulfil its ambitious expansion plans throughout the GCC.
2013 promises to be a breakthrough year for Doner Kebab. The innovative Dubai store is only the first of 20 store openings scheduled to take place throughout the GCC within the next twelve months. Such has been the overwhelming demand for the brand’s unique ‘fusion’ concept that license agreements have been agreed for the whole of the GCC prior to the opening of the flagship store in Jumeirah Lake Towers.
A spokesman for the company explained, “With over twenty years experience in the German market, Doner Kebab decided the timing was right to expand its unique offering on an international basis. Our knowledge of the local market, coupled with our energetic and enthusiastic approach meant that Dubai was the ideal location for our flagship store.”
Doner Kebab’s unique ‘fusion’ concept uses only 100% veal, lamb and pure chicken fillets (100% Halal) together with locally produced fresh vegetables and special ‘Doner Kebab’ bread. Their closely guarded recipes offer a healthy alternative to the traditional image of Doner Kebabs and one, which the company hopes will attract a new generation to the benefits of their brand.
The operation in Dubai will be supported by Europe’s largest Doner Kebab production ‘ Kaplan Doner ‘ operation in Germany and extensive knowledge gained from decades of working within the industry.
