Made For Drink Launches #Hospitalitybond Campaign In Support Of The UK Hospitality Industry

The UK hospitality industry is the spiritual home of Made For Drink, the premium bar snacks producer.  The brand aspires to bring people together over a love of great food and drink.  The best place to enjoy this moment is in any one of the UK’s excellent hospitality venues.  It is this moment that inspired Dan Featherstone to create the business in 2016.  Since then, his gourmet snack range has become a firm favourite among the nation’s foodies and some of the most progressive hospitality operators.

With Boris relaxing the 2m rule from 4th July and publishing guidance on how to open and trade safely, the industry is finally able to bring some much-needed good cheer to UK’s pub-loving community. The biggest challenge is to inspire confidence that venues are safe to visit.  Made for Drink wants to take a stand and support the pub community with the launch of its #HospitalityBond campaign, with one simple aim – to encourage people to visit their local, safely, and get funds back into the UK pub industry.

According to Made for Drink Sales Director, Pete Kelly ‘The #HospitalityBond campaign plays to our strengths and provides the perfect opportunity to engage our friends, fans and foodie followers to support all those amazing venues that have struggled with the spectre of lockdown.  Our 12-week digital campaign offers three opportunities to do just that –

1. Purchasing a one-off #HospitalityBond box, which includes 15 delicious snacks, a letter from Dan outlining our love for the UK hospitality industry and a £5 note to put towards that first drink back in the local;

2. A free prize draw that encourages people to nominate their local via our website to win one of a number of £100 bar tabs.

3. We’re making 5000 packs available, free of charge, to operators nominated in the campaign to help them fill the tills!  This is all about making it easy to put cash in the tills of our favourite locals – we’re hoping that we can generate at least £20,000 worth of cash directly through #HospitalityBond but the sky is the limit on this!”

Inspired by the very finest food & drink cultures from around the world, Duck Fritons, Chorizo Thins and Salami Chips were all born and nurtured to help progressive operators elevate their snack offering, improve their category margin return and, most importantly, deliver an exceptional guest experience.  The luxury bagged snacks are perfectly paired with favoured tipples. Therefore, when it became clear that the UK’s much admired hospitality industry needed some help getting back on its feet, the Berkshire based business knew this was the very moment to stand up and be counted.
