- Nando’s has teamed up with rental e-bike company Lime to celebrate the return of its iconic Mango & Lime spice
- The partnership kicks off with limited edition ‘Mango and Lime (Bike)s’ appearing on the streets of London, Milton Keynes and Nottingham for fans to hunt down
Nando’s is bringing back its iconic Mango & Lime spice for a VERY limited time. Last on the menu in 2020, the fan favourite flavour combines Nando’s PERi-PERi with sweet mango and fresh lime for a fruity but fiery taste.
To celebrate the return of the spicy classic, Nando’s has teamed up with rental e-bike company Lime to get flavour fans peddling to their next PERi-PERi fix. Limited edition Mango & Lime (Bike)s have been hidden in central London, Milton Keynes and Nottingham and there are prizes up for grabs for those who can track them down. To be in with a chance of winning, fans just need to find one of the limited-edition bikes, head to their local Nando’s and take a photo of themself with the bike outside the restaurant. The competition is running from Wednesday 14th August until Sunday 18th August and prizes include Nando’s gift cards from £50 – £200, and three 30 minute Lime rides per winner*.
“The partnership not only marks the return of an iconic Nando’s flavour, but also demonstrates Nando’s and Lime’s commitment to bringing people together for good times this summer.” said Nando’s Head of Brand Hannah Smith
Ellie Bird, Comms and Brand Lead at Lime UKI said: “We’re so excited to be teaming up with Nando’s to announce the return of its legendary Mango & Lime flavour. Our limited edition Mango & Lime (Bike)s are officially out in the wild, and if anyone can hunt them down, we know it’s going to be Nando’s and Lime’s biggest fans. Happy hunting!”
The partnership forms part of Nando’s Summer, Fully Loaded campaign which is about squeezing the most out of summer moments however big or small. The integrated campaign is currently live across BVOD, Social and Radio and has been created in collaboration with Nando’s creative agency New Commercial Arts, its media agency Zenith, and social agency Born Social.
