Each year, Nespresso creates eagerly anticipated Limited Edition coffees to continually surprise and delight as well as deliver new sensory pleasures to some of the world’s most discerning coffee lovers.
This year Nespresso is launching Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo, which honour the diversity and richness of Italian coffee culture and are inspired by the two contrasting cities, Milan and Palermo.
“Following the launch of our Trieste and Napoli Limited Edition coffees, we wanted to continue our tribute to Italy by paying homage to the unique coffee cultures of Milan and Palermo,” commented Karsten Ranitzsch, Head of Coffee at Nespresso.
“Tribute to Milano is our interpretation of the hustle and bustle of the elegant and vibrant city of Milan, where coffee is enjoyed at a fast pace while standing at the bar. In contrast, Tribute to Palermo is a powerful, intense and full bodied coffee. We were inspired by the scents of the Sicilian outdoor markets, alive with colourful spices, so the cacao aromas and spicy peppery notes evoke an experience among the locals at the market.”
Nespresso is synonymous with quality and the new Limited Edition coffees, Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo, are made with the finest Arabicas and Robustas to deliver an extraordinary coffee experience.
Both Limited Edition coffees will appeal to intense coffee fans and can be enjoyed black but also blend perfectly with milk. The full intensity of Tribute to Milano can be enjoyed in a Latte Macchiato, offering a creamier milder taste with caramel aromas, while Tribute to Palermo can be savored in a cappuccino without sacrificing any of this blend’s full body and powerful character. The delightful new coffees will immerse coffee fans into the atmosphere of these enchanting Italian cities.
The Limited Edition Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo Grands Crus are available in the US, starting on September 1, 2015.
