Pickapeppa picks Wanis as exclusive distribution partner

Leading World Foods distributor Wanis International has been appointed the UK’s exclusive distribution partner for Jamaica’s legendary Pickapeppa Sauce. Wanis will be responsible for all of the brand’s UK distribution across all channels. The initial launch-range, available now, features two of Pickapeppa’s bestselling sauces; Pickapeppa Original Sauce and Pickapeppa Spicy Mango Sauce.

Founded in Jamaica in 1921, the Pickapeppa Sauce Company has established itself as a flagbearer globally for the high quality of Jamaican produce. The brand’s meticulous process for crafting its sauces, which includes a secret family recipe and an oak cask aging process, has contributed to the brand’s continued success in Jamaica and around the World. Additonally, Pickapeppa Sauces are gluten free, contain no artificial ingredients and are suitable for vegetarians.

The brand will join Wanis’ heritage portfolio of World Foods brands which includes NIDO, Seprod, Tropical Sun, Carib Lager, Chief, Baron Sauces, Honey Bun, Baldwin’s and Africa’s Finest. Wanis, which specialises in world foods, currently supplies all the UK’s leading supermarkets, alongside a wide base of national independent retailers, wholesalers and foodservice operators.
