Following the successful re-launch of the Branston Relish range, Parker Williams is delighted to announce its latest project with Mizkan Euro Ltd for its Branston portfolio. Having identified an opportunity within the existing Chutney market, Branston looked to extend its portfolio to include two exciting new Chutney flavours available this autumn.
Jo Saker, Creative Director at Parker Williams said: “Building on our experience of Branston, we were keen to retain the brand’s visual equity within a new product market. It was important to provide a clear link to Branston whilst making sure the new Chutney range held its own against competitor brands already in this category.”
Informed by Branston user research, the Chutney labels show taste cues through on pack ingredient imagery rather than serving suggestions. The lid also takes on a new look of its own with the reinforcement of the ‘Bring out the Branston’ proposition.
Victoria Adams, Branston Brand Manager at Mizkan Euro, said: “We spotted a gap in the market for an entry level everyday range of chutneys that appeal to the consumers’ sense of “Britishness”, so now is the time for us to build on our position as the number one brand in pickles and relish and establish ourselves in a new category that offers growth potential to retailers.”
