Pasta Specialists from Turin, Savurè are Set to Launch in Shoreditch

Savurè, the authentic Italian pasta restaurant & shop from Turin, Italy will be opening their first London restaurant in Shoreditch this summer. Following the success of their Pastificio con Cucina shop in Turin, Savuré freshly prepares hand made pasta daily to eat in, take away or cook at home.

At the heart of Savurè will be the Il Pastificio, the dynamic Pasta Lab which showcases the chefs kneading, rolling and cutting the pasta, all prepared that day on the premises, offering over 200 different combinations to choose from, using authentic Italian recipes and traditional methods.

Showcasing pasta recipes from across Italy, the extensive menu will offer a selection of different dishes. Customers will be able to create their own combination or simply follow with tradition. From the Piedmont region, the Agnolotti Savurè, a ravioli egg pasta filled with three Italian meats, Mediterranean herbs and spices, each province possesses its own variation typically handed down from generation to generation.

Directly from Turin itself, the Tajarin will also feature, a long extra thin flat egg pasta dish. Guests are able to select any sauce with any pasta, choose the chickpea pasta with trionfo di verdure a sauce made with tomato, courgettes, potatoes, eggplants and pepper or the ragu di carne chianina a deliciously rich sauce made with chianina beef, tomato and red wine.

With roots deep within Italian food culture, warm hospitality and authentic flavour is at its core. A casual dining destination, Savurè focuses on the customer’s dining needs, from morning coffee to take away lunch or eat in dinner with friends. The Savurè shop serves fresh pastas, sauces, wines and artisanal Italian products for those who want to recreate the experience at home.

The colour palate will be a combination of flour white, with hints of egg yolk yellow and tomato red. With floor to ceiling windows, the open plan restaurant will have natural light flowing throughout.

Choose between high top sharing tables, intimate booths or al fresco dining on the patio. Artisanal Italian products will be displayed in white washed wooden cabinets in the restaurant and marble worktops will showcase daily pastas for guests to choose from.
