B&B Studio has designed the first Pip & Nut, Nut Butter Cookbook, which features healthy recipes from the lifestyle brand’s founder Pippa Murray.
Specialists in brand creation, identity and packaging B&B studio, created the Pip & Nut brand, which reinvented nut butter, transforming it from a cupboard staple that was spread on toast, into a healthy and nutritious snack, as well as a cooking ingredient and now an aspirational coffee table cookbook – a testament to the power the brand conveys through its personality and online engagement.
B&B studio, has worked with Pip & Nut from the brand’s beginning in 2015, creating the memorable leaping squirrel that graces the brand’s packaging. Pip & Nut is now the UK’s fastest growing nut
butter brand.
The agency designed the cookbook’s cover and back pages, colourful splash pages, icons and directed the photography.
Shaun Bowen, Creative Partner, B&B studio, says: “We worked closely with the publishers and food photographer to ensure the personality of the Pip & Nut brand came through on every page. The result is the best kind of cookbook – packed with recipes that real people really want to cook and as visually striking as a beautiful coffee table book.”
A Healthy Boost
The book includes recipes such as Coco-Nutty Banana Pancakes and Cashew, Blackberry and Pear Porridge, Peanut Soba Noodle Salad, Pick Your Own Protein Balls, Vegan Almond Fudge and Baked Peanut Butter and Raspberry Cheesecake, for people who are looking to give their diet a healthy protein fuelled boost.
Pip & Nut founder Pippa Murray said: “Pip & Nut has found a huge fan base, who have naturally started to create their own recipes from our butters, so we listened and answered by delivering a beautifully designed, tactile and easy to use book. The Pip & Nut ethos is that healthy food should never be boring and B&B studio has once again helped us extend our vision into something spectacular and coveted.”
Pip & Nut, The Nut Butter Cookbook was released on December 29th, from Quadrille Publishing, priced at £15.
The book’s author, Pippa, was inspired to create Pip & Nut by her experiences as a marathon runner looking to provide a healthier alternative to traditional peanut butters. Almond butter is a high protein alternative for those looking to avoid palm oil and dairy.
The brand is stocked in more than 2,500 stores UK-wide, including Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett, Ocado and Whole Foods.
