Brand & packaging company Pure has designed celebratory packaging for real ale company Loddon, for a limited-edition ale created to mark the brewery’s 10th anniversary. With Pure’s design befitting the premium quality of the product and this important milestone in the company’s history.
The commemorative bottle label and tube are presented in black and ingeniously numbered to communicate three key points; that each bottle is one of 300 limited edition products, the landmark 10th anniversary, and the alcohol content of 10% ABV.
For Loddon, Luke Hearn said, “We tasked Pure with creating a unique design to mark the occasion and reflect the quality of the product, a barley wine aged in scotch whisky barrels. We were delighted with the way Pure maintained brand focus on the iconic Loddon dragonfly but captured premium quality and exclusivity. At £25 per bottle, the impression of the packaging is the consumer’s reference point for the quality of the product. We’re convinced the fantastic design of the label and presentation tube has been a major factor in the rapid early sales success, with a third of the bottles sold in the first week of retailing.”
David Rogers, founder and Creative Director of Pure, said, “The use of black along with the design and physical structure of the packaging references real ale and scotch whisky to create something special and desirable for real ale connoisseurs.”
