First UK flagship restaurant to open in Piccadilly Circus late 2026
Chicken Finger fans rejoice as Raising Cane’s sets its sights on London’s West End for its highly anticipated debut in the UK. Set to open late 2026, Raising Cane’s UK flagship marks a major milestone in the brand’s global expansion and first foray into Europe. It will also bring several additional UK restaurants to prime London locations within the months to follow.

Opening at 21-22 Coventry St. (formerly the Angus Steakhouse restaurant) between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, Cane’s UK flagship will add the brand’s signature flair, bold signage and high visibility to the West End’s vibrant nightlife and bustling entertainment, theater and shopping district.
A TikTok sensation, the brand has over 5 million social followers and is adored by the likes of Snoop Dogg. Superfan Post Malone has also partnered with Cane’s with two custom Post-Malone themed restaurants in the States. Its fiercely loyal fanbase loves its Craveable Chicken Finger Meals® and menu consisting of five core products, all prepared hot and fresh to order:
- Crispy Chicken Fingers – marinated for 24+ hours and hand-breaded
- Craveable Cane’s Sauce® – house-made and mixed fresh each morning
- Buttery Cane’s toast – buttered and griddled to perfection
- Crunchy coleslaw – hand-mixed and made fresh
- Crispy crinkle-cut fries – served hot and salted to perfection

The new Piccadilly Circus restaurant will join a lineup of iconic flagships in some of the world’s most visited cities, including Times Square and the Las Vegas Strip. As with all Cane’s outlets, it will pay homage to the location’s community, history and icons through carefully curated memorabilia and décor, embodying every element of the city in which it is located.
The beloved Chicken Finger brand is making waves as one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands with industry-leading quality and an exceptional customer experience. In order to support this growth, it’s hiring a President of Raising Cane’s UK, who will oversee the business operations and support centre functions from a London-based office. Additional roles at the restaurant and support office levels will be recruited for later this year.
Raising Cane’s co-CEO and COO AJ Kumaran comments: “Bringing Raising Cane’s to the UK has been a dream of ours for many years and we’re excited to officially open the doors to our UK flagship late next year. We love the vibrant and eclectic atmosphere of Piccadilly Circus and are looking forward to marking this milestone with a flagship in the heart of London. With nearly 950 restaurants across the US and Middle East, Europe presents an excellent expansion opportunity as we embark on this next phase of growth, and we’re excited to begin that growth with the UK.”
Raising Cane’s was brought to life by owner and founder Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After presenting the business plan for a Chicken Finger-focused concept, Graves set out to make his dream a reality and began raising money for his vision. Through hard work he eventually secured the funds needed to break ground on Raising Cane’s first restaurant, “The Mothership,” in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, which still stands today in all its glory. Graves built the first restaurant by hand and finally opened the doors to serve his first Customers in the early morning hours of August 28, 1996.

Raising Cane’s Owner and Founder, Todd Graves added: “I’m thrilled to finally be opening in the UK late next year. We receive more requests to come to the UK than anywhere else in the world, so I started looking at real estate with the team a few years ago and began identifying top locations to open Raising Cane’s across London and the UK, including London’s West End and other prime central and suburban locations across London including areas around The Strand, Oxford Circus, Paddington and South Bank as well as Drive-Thru locations in greater London and beyond. It has always been a dream of mine to bring Cane’s to the UK and I’m excited to officially kick off this growth with the opening of our UK flagship. London is one of my favorite places and I’ve always enjoyed visiting with my family.”
