A Food Tray That Lets You Read And Eat At The Same Time

Designed by South Korean designer Yuhun Kim, the ‘Reading Tray’ is a transparent food tray that allows people to read and eat at the same time, while protecting the book from spills.

Kim said that “although many people habitually do several tasks at once, they do not realize that they are multitasking”, unless a “mistake” is made.

“People do not recognize having much difficulty performing different activities at the same time unless the tasks are either physically mismatched. However, the same error accidently happens and repeats even if it was presumed,” he adds.

The ‘Reading Tray’, a part of her ‘Aids for Multi-tasking’ series, was designed to reduce the errors that arise when we multi-task, making the process easier.
