What do Molly Sims and Wendy’s have in common? They both have good taste. Tonight, actress, model and style icon Molly Sims hosted an exclusive fashion event at a Wendy’s restaurant on 714 Third Avenue in New York City, where she kicked off a new campaign that celebrates the recent launch of Wendy’s new premium Asian Cashew Chicken and BBQ Ranch Chicken salads.
“The New Salad Collection from Wendy’s” campaign – a partnership with fashion site Polyvore– allows consumers to create online style boards inspired by the bold flavors and vibrant colors of Wendy’s new salads for a chance to win their fashion finds. As contest judge, Sims, who is also a philanthropist, wife and mother, will choose her favorite style expressions that embody the colors and personalities of Wendy’s new salads.
“Fashion inspiration can come from anywhere – even your Wendy’s salad,” said Sims. “I love how Wendy’s is rolling out their new salads like a fashion line and can’t wait to see how fashion lovers like me are inspired by them.”
Sims unveiled her own Polyvore style boards inspired by the obsession-worthy salads at the event to encourage fashionistas everywhere to participate. Guests enjoyed Wendy’s new premium salads and interacted with larger-than-life style boards to create their own salad-inspired looks.
Fashion fans can visit here to check out Sims’ collections and create their own style boards, using Wendy’s salad images and fashions inspired by them. Consumers then tag their board with #NewSaladCollection for a chance to win $1,000, which can be used to stock up on styles they’ve pinned. Consumers will have four opportunities to participate between now and July
Wendy’s new premium salads are the season’s freshest must-haves and include high-end ingredients, such as fire-roasted edamame, spicy roasted cashews and fire-roasted sweet corn.
