- BŌL Foods to launch in 1900 Coop stores nationwide from 2nd January, 2023
- Five recipes to be listed across their One Pot Meals (RRP* £2.95) and Power Soups ranges (RRP* £3.25)
BŌL Foods are hitting the ground running in 2023 with a new listing with Coop stores. Landing in stores nationwide from 2nd January, the brand will be launching right as plant-based interest peaks in Veganuary. And with at least one Coop store in every UK postal area, BŌL will be making it even easier for consumers to give plant-based a try.
The initial ranges to launch include One Pot Meals, with a Coconut Lentil Turmeric Daal, Spanish Butter Bean Stew, and Japanese Katsu Curry. Packing an impressive 20+ grams of protein, 20+ grams of fibre and 2 of your 5-a-day, these power-filled pots are the perfect way to squeeze more goodness into your day. RRP £2.95*.
In addition to this are two bestselling SKUs from their Power Soup range: an Immune Boosting Butternut squash & chilli, and their Great Taste Award Winning Protein Boosting Garden pea & spinach. Full of fresh veg, protein, and spoonful’s of taste, these are packed to the lid with health boosting benefits. Wholesome homecooked tastes, with no chopping or blending required. RRP £3.25.
The 100% plant-based B Corp is on a mission to help busy people eat well, and make a delicious, plant-based diet more realistic for the demands of modern life. After a long list of successes in 2022, such as a Great Taste Award, and a Grocer Gold win for Best SME, BŌL Foods are gearing up for their biggest year yet. With long-standing listings already in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda, Morrison’s and other OOH channels, Coop will further expand the brand’s reach – boosting their awareness with shoppers in all regions.
Lucy Cowan, Head of Commercial at BŌL Foods says: The COOP partnership is a fantastic fit for BOL, as not only are we aligned on our focus to ‘do the right thing for the planet’ but we also over index with the Co-Op target shoppers: ‘foodies’ and ‘quick and easy’ shoppers looking for convenience. We are confident that we will see the same success in Co-Op as we’ve seen across the market; where BOL continues to be the fastest growing brand in plant based, and most importantly delivers consistent growth for our retail partners, as three quarters of our shoppers are incremental to the category*.
