Newly created position to deliver on brands’ innovative and bold culinary strategy
Boston Pizza today announced the hiring of Helen Langford for the newly created position of Vice President of Food Services. Langford brings more than ten years of product innovation, quality assurance and supply chain expertise to the role and will oversee Boston Pizza’s long-term culinary planning and strategy.
“Helen brings tremendous leadership and experience to Boston Pizza’s culinary planning team,” says Ken Otto, Chief Operating Officer, Boston Pizza International. “Her background in restaurant and QSR organizations, as well as her action-oriented approach, will contribute to the growth and success of the Boston Pizza brand.”
An innovation, quality assurance and supply chain professional, Langford has demonstrated her ability to lead teams through the intricacies of product development and supply chain to deliver fully finished, cost effective, restaurant-ready products and services.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the Boston Pizza team and having the opportunity to work with Canada’s leading casual dining brand,” said Langford. “I am excited to work with the culinary planning team to develop amazing new products for Guests to enjoy from coast to coast.”
Prior to joining Boston Pizza, Langford worked in supply chain and quality assurance roles for a number of leading restaurant and food manufacturing organizations.
