Dalston’s is continuing its craft soda revolution with a new selection of great tasting, no nasties, real ingredient led canned drinks that all fall under 100 calories, after securing its first major supermarket listing just months ago.
The premium canned sodas are launched to challenge the notion that sparkling drinks are laden with sugar and chemicals and are not to be consumed regularly. Dalston’s will offer three core flavours; orangeade, lemonade and classic Dalston Cola. All of the cans are made in the UK, and were crafted in Dalston’s East London Brew Yard.
The drinks are made from a base of real fruit ingredients, spring water and beet sugar, which is a healthier alternative for consumers to enjoy. Dalston’s has used delicious natural ingredients such as Sicilian lemons and oranges, as well as cola nuts and a bespoke blend of spices for a palatable taste. The result is a range of refreshing and clean tasting soft drinks, which contain all of the flavour and enjoyment of a fizzy drink, with none of the harsh chemicals or vast amounts of sugar found in alternative brands.
Duncan O’Brien, founder of Dalston’s, says, “We think it’s the perfect time to offer premium soft drinks in cans. Our range is made from carefully sourced ingredients, and blended with the adult palate in mind. Cans give us a great canvas for communication so we’ve decided to put calorie content on the front of pack and highlight the attention we place on sourcing with our trademark Dalston’s ‘D’.”
Dan Broughton, managing director, comments, “We want to kick start a craft soda revolution and offer the consumer of tomorrow a soft drink offering that meets their needs for a healthier, refreshing and permissible treat.”
Dalston’s cans are available for a RRP £1.19 for 330ml cans and can be found at Whole Foods, Ocado, and fine coffee shops, restaurants and bars nationally in the UK.
