Nescafe Dolce Gusto, the chic line of single–serve coffee machines that deliver true coffeehouse quality espressos, coffees, lattes and teas, partnered with QVC, to showcase the brand’s unique offerings on February 23 on “In The Kitchen with David.” Consumers had access to Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s innovative single serve machines and a variety of flavors including a bold Americano, sweet Caramel Macchiato and frothy Cappuccino.
To kick-off the partnership, Mario Lopez, the newly appointed brand ambassador who stars in the Nescafe Dolce Gusto infomercial, hosted the company’s first live broadcast on QVC. Lopez brought some “gusto” to the QVC kitchen as he showcased the popular Genio machine model with an exclusive offer for QVC viewers.
Consumers have the opportunity to purchase Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s best-selling flavours including coffees and specialty beverages available in hot and cold varieties. The promotion was curated with help from the QVC team and will be available for a limited time.
Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s single-serve machines are equipped with 15 bars of professional pressure and espresso technology, and deliver more than 18 different delicious, coffeehouse quality beverages – from creamy layered Lattes to sweet Caramel Macchiatos – in less than a minute.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with QVC as they are the leading network in home shopping, reaching nearly 100 million homes in the US, and are excited to showcase our products through a new vehicle,” says Kimberly Cooper, Marketing Director, Nescafe Dolce Gusto. “We’re confident that consumers who try our coffeehouse quality coffees will be impressed with the delicious taste of our creamy layers and bold espressos.”
This is the latest move by Nescafe Dolce Gusto, which introduced a new advertising campaign this year, “Live with Gusto,” that sets to re-establish the brand’s credentials and expertise. QVC joins a list of prominent retailers including Amazon.com, Bed Bath and Beyond online and others.
