Oscar’s lounge and kitchen in Nottinghamshire is set to relaunch to celebrate the venue’s sumptuous new décor and exciting new private function space, the Garden Suite.
The new-look bar and restaurant, which is nestled in the village of Calverton, will welcome guests on the 12 November to enjoy the venue’s recently refurbished gastro-bar and restaurant and have the chance to sample cuisine from Oscar’s new autumn / winter menu, and enjoy complimentary drinks.
Oscar’s offers independent branded drinks, cocktails and informal dining in the lounge area and a la carte cuisine and a carefully selected wine list in the restaurant. All meals are made fresh everyday on the premises by Oscar’s resident chef.
Live music will also be available on the relaunch evening by Oscar’s resident musician Suzi Jary who pulls in the crowds each Friday evening.
Managing director Dominic Hayer, said: “Oscar’s continues to be a very popular venue and provides high quality dining in a relaxed setting but we felt it was time to give the venue a bit of a transformation, to provide our customers with an exciting new setting to enjoy our hospitality.
“The team and I have really enjoyed choosing the new décor and are very excited about showcasing the new-look Oscar’s to the people of Nottinghamshire. As well as the décor, we have lots to shout about – our new menu and drinks selection plus our new private Garden Suite.

During the VIP event, guests will be able to have a sneak peek at the venue’s new facilities including the contemporary function room which seats up to 80 people or can accommodate up to 150 for weddings, private parties and corporate events.
With doors opening directly onto the outdoor terrace, the Garden Suite offers a unique space and a much needed addition to the out of town private hire offering.
Only 15 minutes from Nottingham city centre, Oscar’s provides a relaxed and friendly ambience, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a bite to eat, a three course meal or just a drink.

A new website showcasing everything Oscar’s has to offer has also been launched allowing visitors to view the seasonal menus, book a table, leave reviews and join social media channels.
