Recent sampling events at Southern California Costcos gave consumers a taste of new Ehrmann Mixim Greek fat-free yogurt and the opportunity to choose their “flavorite.” Customers were given samples of six different flavour combinations of creamy, smooth plain Mixim Greek yogurt packaged with two separate toppings and asked to choose their favourite. The results are in, as are the new Mixim Club Packs at 10 Southern California Costco locations, which are hitting the shelves this week. The new Club Packs feature four cups each of Mango Pineapple with Coconut & Almonds and Strawberries with Granola.
“We loved that Costco customers were a part of the flavor selection process,” said Chris Solly, CEO of Ehrmann USA. “Mixim is a fresh and exciting way of enjoying Greek yogurt. Our distinctive heart-shaped container with its three chambers includes our creamy Greek yogurt and two perfectly paired toppings.
So even though customers have made their flavor choices, they still have a choice about how to enjoy their yogurt – mix in the toppings all at once or a little at a time.”
New Mixim Costco Club Packs are currently being sold at stores in Los Feliz, Alhambra, San Juan Capistrano, Irvine, Culver City, Hawthorne, Bakersfield, La Habra and Tustin. “We are very excited to be able to offer Mixim to Costco’s customers, and in the next few months, we hope to be able to expand distribution to include locations in San Diego county, Northern California and additional stores in the greater Los Angeles area,” said Solly. The eight-pack of Mixim currently sells for $10.79.
Mixim fat-free Greek yogurt is made with Cultured Pasteurized Grade A Milk (Live and Active cultures: Lactobacillus Bulgaricus, Streptococcus Thermophilus, Lactobacillus Acidophilus). Each 5.3-oz Mixim container is approximately 150 calories and delivers at least 10g protein.
