The World Whisky Experience by IWSC brings the gold standard of global Whiskies to London

This November, whisky lovers and industry insiders will gather at Christ Church Spitalfields for The World Whisky Experience hosted by IWSC —a curated exploration of the most highly awarded whiskies from around the globe. Drawing on the latest International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) results, the event brings together over 200 drams, from iconic Scotch and Irish whisky to standout expressions from Japan, India, Taiwan, Nepal, and beyond.

We are entering a true golden era of whisky from around the world. IWSC data reveals a 25% increase in entries from non-traditional whisky regions* since 2023, with 57% more of the elusive Gold medals being awarded by blind taste tests to producers from outside Scotland and Ireland regions within the same timeframe. This includes brands such as Kavalan (Taiwan), Amrut (India), Starward (Australia), and Langatun (Switzerland).

Christelle Guibert, CEO of the World Whisky Experience says: “This unique event is a celebration of how diverse and exciting whisky has become. At the World Whisky Experience by IWSC, visitors can taste the world’s top award-winners together, in one place. Whisky isn’t just for the educated palate, it has become much broader, more inclusive and generally a more exciting drinks category.”
