Beer Company Launches Advent Calendar with a Difference!

Best of British Beer has created an advent calendar with a difference for this Christmas – instead of chocolates behind the doors, there are bottles of beer!

The limited edition ‘calendar’ comprises a 105cm high, 40cm wide cardboard tree and star, 24 330 ml bottles, a special 500 ml treat for Christmas Day, serving suggestions for all the beers, and a special festive quiz.

It comes fully assembled, apart from the star, which is easily added.

Best of British Beer owner Gill Sherwin said: “We were inspired by the childhood excitement of opening a new window on the calendar every December morning, and the anticipation of what might be hidden behind it. It’s a brilliant gift for the beer lover in your life. This is the only beer advent calendar in the country, with 25 of the finest British beers from independent producers the length and breadth of the UK, such as The Celt Experience from Wales, Windsor & Eton Brewery, and Scotland’s Fyne Ales.”

“If you look in the tree trunk on Christmas Day you’ll find a 500ml bottle of ‘Ding Dong’, an award-winning champagne style beer from Monty’s Brewery in Wales, which is a fantastic tipple to enjoy with your turkey,” added Gill.

Only 1000 of the calendars have been produced. They retail at £95 (including next day delivery) and are available from the Best of British Beer website.
