Crafty Nectar, one of the world’s biggest craft cider subscription offering, has announced the launch of its No.7 and No.8 ciders. Born from the flavour profile of thousands of cider drinkers, Crafty Nectar has carefully created the world’s first and best craft-sourced ciders.
Somerset cider meets Shoreditch backstreets as both No.7 and No.8 are packed in vibrant edgy cans, perfect for those who want to grab and go. So how do they taste? Like proper craft cider should.
Crafty Nectar No.7 is a medium, mellow and sparkling craft apple cider, made in collaboration with one of the UK’s top cider makers. Vegan friendly and Gluten free, it’s blended from the finest, freshest pressed apples helping the No.7 ooze with flavour.
Crafty Nectar No.8 Rhubarb Craft Cider is a sweet and sour cider with a tart edge. The Yorkshire sourced Rhubarb makes this cider a proper tangy taste with just the right amount of sweet flavours and aromas. A perfect refreshment for the last glimpses of the summer heatwave.
After building the world’s largest Craft Cider Delivery Service, Crafty Nectar wanted to create a new approach to craft cider with the No.7 and No.8. The new approach, craft-sourcing, was based on the great conversations they had every day with cider lovers.
The founders Ed and James listened to their subscribers, making small and slight adjustments as they went along so that their craft cider captured what the people wanted. Craft-sourcing cider is not about two founders tasting cider by themselves, basing their changes on what has already been done before. It’s about getting the people on board, the true cider lovers, to help perfect the art of craft.
Ed Calvert- Crafty Nectar Co-Founder: “The whole idea behind our No.7 and No.8 releases was to give the people what they want. Cider drinkers today don’t want to be let down with sugary, artificial cider. People are focused on quality, they care about what goes into their drink and how it’s made. At Crafty we’ve took note and through collaboration have created two ciders that are truly selective, creative and amazing.”
