The work brings consumers on a tavern-to-table journey and is the first from the company’s partnership with food and beverage marketing agency, quench
Home Run Inn Pizza, the iconic Chicago pizza brand known for bringing its tavern-style pizza from its restaurants to freezer aisles across the country, is launching a new integrated marketing campaign to drive awareness and demand for its growing CPG offering in key markets nationwide.
The campaign is led by a set of new television commercials that tell the unique family owned, tavern-to-table story that makes Home Run Inn Pizza a standout in the frozen pizza category. The spots feature award-winning blues guitarist, singer/songwriter, and legend, “Billy Blues” Fruteland Jackson, further bringing the brand’s Chicago heritage to life. The campaign represents the single largest television investment in Home Run Inn’s 103-year history.
The creative will begin airing in select markets nationwide in late October to coincide with National Tavern-Style Pizza Day on October 22. Online and connected video, streaming audio, out-of-home, and display advertising will support the television campaign.

Home Run Inn Pizza has been serving its signature tavern-style pizza in Chicago for more than 75 years and today operates six pizzerias throughout Chicagoland. In the late 1950s, the family began par-baking and freezing those same pizzas for customers and local grocery stores, laying the foundation for a frozen pizza business that now reaches consumers nationwide. For Home Run Inn and quench, the new campaign taps into something few frozen pizza brands can claim: a product with a generational restaurant legacy behind it.
“We know we have a great product and a story that resonates with consumers. The opportunity now is making sure more people know about it as we expand into new markets,” said Home Run Inn Pizza CEO Dan Costello. “This campaign is about getting our name in front of more people and sharing what makes our pizza special.”

“A lot of brands can sell frozen pizza. Home Run Inn delivers a genuine Chicago pizza experience,” said quench CEO Michael Pavone. “That story is real and it’s authentic. It also gives us something powerful to work with creatively. Our job is to turn that authenticity into something that gets attention and drives sales.”
The new television work is part of Home Run Inn Pizza’s ongoing efforts to introduce its signature tavern-style pizza to more consumers and build the brand in markets across the country. Additional branding support is expected to roll out in early 2027.
