Into the Light creates disruptive new gluten free brand for Juvela

North-West based branding and packaging design agency Into the Light has created Oaf – a new, disruptive, gluten-free bread brand for client Juvela.

The Oaf range aims to bring fun, simplicity and playfulness into the traditionally staid and medicinal gluten-free bakery category. The range, launching into Tesco, consists of a white and seeded sliced loaf and pizza slice pack, with more products planned for the coming months.

Into the Light have created a unique brand character called Oaf – a fun, purple fellow whose eyes draw you in on the front of the pack. A vibrant colour palette, simple pack designs, and playful use of copy and type ensure Oaf has maximum impact across pack designs, point of sale materials, social media and online.

Alex Alderdice, Marketing Director at Juvela, said: “We are so excited to launch Oaf – a breath of fresh air for the category. It’s exciting to be able to offer a fun, fresh and stupidly simple brand choice to gluten-free consumers. Into the Light have been a great creative partner and we can’t wait to see where Oaf takes us in the coming months.”
