This holiday season, through a friendly neighbourhood partnership with the Nutkrack brand (owned by Chef Eric Rupert), creative agency, Planet Propaganda will be bringing special edition ‘Krampus Kibble‘ to Madison, WI and beyond, inspired by the Krampus of folklore: the mean to Santa’s merry, and punisher of ill-mannered munchkins.
Planet Propaganda collaborated with Nutkrack to create a name and label design for the special holiday edition of their popular candied pecan treat. Krampus Kibble will be promoted through a website, partners’ social media, and signage at the Nutkrack retail store and in Planet Propaganda’s windows facing Madison’s busy Williamson Street.
The website (also created by the team at Planet) includes a heaping dose of Krampus personality and a form to send your very own letter to Krampus confessing your misdeeds and begging for mercy from Santa’s vengeful counterpart. Favourite confessions will receive a custom response from Krampus himself and the letter writer will receive a free tin of Krampus Kibble — allowing some lucky folks outside of the Madison area to sample the product.
Furthering the neighbourhood spirit of the partnership, a portion of each tin sold will benefit The Goodman Community Center’s Fritz Food Pantry. This is the third straight year that Planet Propaganda’s holiday project has benefited a local charitable food program. Planet will also be making a cash donation to the Food Pantry in addition to the portion of proceeds from sales of Krampus Kibble.
Tins of Krampus Kibble will of course also find their way to Planet Propaganda’s clients and business partners as a thank you for another successful year of working together.
Half-pound Krampus Kibble tins will be on-sale for $15 at the Nutkrack retail store at 2086 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI, December 10th through December 23.
