Mystery Provides Design Strategy for Swarovski’s Iconic Daniels Kristallwelten Restaurant Rebrand

Daniels Kristallwelten has now officially reopened in glittering style and is an even more inviting, friendly and relaxing space.

With separate smaller lounge zones to give the area more structure, yet keeping to the original concept of a single space – the principle behind the flowing forms of Snøhetta’s original architectural design – the unique views of the alpine landscape and the garden are still the main attraction.

Daniels Kristallwelten is an awe-inspiring, premium casual experience, showcasing a delicately crafted, International all-day menu through imaginative service; unifying its diverse market with surprisingly accessible prices and a uniquely captivating experience.

While the new restaurant interiors were designed by Austrian firm, MarcThomas, Mystery Ltd. created the design strategy that tied the interior and exterior design of the building to the brand of iconic Swarovski Crystal Worlds through all other visual and experiential elements.

The project encompassed all graphic design elements, including brand identity, menus, visitor panels, eat-in and takeaway restaurant materials, signage, uniforms and all marketing collateral.

“I am particularly pleased that we were able to get Mystery as a creative agency for Daniels Kristallwelten. Mystery as our partner is renowned for high quality standards and extraordinary ideas,” said Carla Rumler, Cultural Director at Swarovski.

Working closely with Swarovski’s in-house production department Mystery has ensured that the newly refurbished Daniels Kristallwelten provides an immersive dining experience that encapsulates the unmistakable magic of Swarovski Crystal Worlds.

The project is part of the ongoing development of Swarovski Crystal Worlds that includes four new Chambers of Wonder, designed by internationally renowned artists, including Indian designer, Manish Arora; Austrian multi-media artist André Heller; Israeli artist Arik Levy and Mexican star architect Fernando Romero.

“It’s been a huge privilege to work with Swarovski Crystal Worlds on the Daniels Kristallwelten project. This sort of opportunity presents itself very rarely and it’s been an amazing experience to be part of the ongoing development of such an iconic branding we are continuing our partnership with several other ongoing projects,” added Steve Sharp, Managing Director at Mystery Ltd.
