Warm baked apples, toasted pecans, the taste of the graham cracker crust on Grandma’s homemade pies, those memorable and loveable flavours are hot out the oven in Piehole – a delicious blend of Canadian Whisky and pie-flavored liqueur.
Piehole, best sliced up as a shot, will be available beginning November 2014 in the following tempting flavors that your pie hole is sure to love: Apple Pie, Cherry Pie and Pecan Pie. Inspired by Grandma’s favorite pie recipes, this new-to-world product line features pie liqueur flavoured whiskies aged between four to eight years and bottled in Canada.
Piehole Apple Pie Canadian Whisky with flavoured liqueur has the sweetness of apple pie filling and baked crust with a hint of cinnamon and clove spice.
Piehole Pecan Pie has the distinctive taste of toasted nutty pecans with background notes of bourbon vanilla extract, dark brown sugar, and baked pie crust.
Piehole Cherry Pie balances sweet baked cherries with notes of buttery pastry and baked pie crust. At 70 proof (35% ABV), Piehole whiskys with pie flavoured liqueur are perfect for celebrating the fun times in life, so for those enjoying those moments, slice off a shot of delicious Piehole.
“Many people remember that feeling you get when you first taste Grandma’s pies fresh from the oven,” said Kristin Markovich, senior innovation manager, Piehole whisky. “Piehole is our way of bringing that delicious memory to consumers for any fun occasion and we hope people everywhere will open their pie holes to try these three mouth-watering flavours.”
